Frank Kush:
Spanish emcee Jonathan ''Frank Kush aka Chex'' Pacheco was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona under the guidance of his single mother. Lacking a father figure was very tough in his upbringing until he found the perfect outlet to channel his adversity.
At the tender age of 6, he found a love for writing poetry, which would serve as the gateway instrument to his growing infatuation over the years with rhyming. The natural ability he possessed for expressing his feelings quickly turned into a passion.
He was recognized for his writing in second grade when one of his poems received national acclaim. It was a match made in heaven for Chex when his older brother introduced him to Hip-Hop music at the age of ten.
His artistic personality began to flourish as he continued writing poetry, his largest inspiration coming from the late Tupac Shakur. After spending countless months writing down his thoughts on his experiences and those around him, he decided to take his skills to the next level by joining fellow classmates in cipher rap sessions.
From that point forward, Chex began to gain popularity for his skills around the city, which resulted in him holding the title of freestyle champ at Phoenix’s local radio station.
As he gained public notoriety, his mentors advised him to relocate to Los Angeles to expand to a larger demographic. Although Chex adored his Phoenix hometown, he knew in order to reach a wider audience, moving to Los Angeles was the next phase in his journey.
Currently, Chex is in Los Angeles perfecting his craft in the Sound Labb recording studio as he prepares for his debut album “Hip Hop Crush”.
Chex has created a lane for himself and a music style that is his own. He humbly states, “We only have one life to live. I want to touch the most people that I can. I want to be the foundation that my family and my community build off of.”
Lyda:
Organic. Drawn from scratch. Lyda creates his own sound from literally thin air. Every note, every beat, every volume change or delay throw, every cymbal hit was designed by Lyda to put forth an emotion, which in turns contributes to the purpose of each song. And according to Lyda, that is the purpose of creating a song in the first place.
Since January 2010, Ryan Mielke (Lyda) has been creating instrumentals, recording vocals, writing harmonies, and creating content while promoting and marketing himself on the internet. Today, Lyda has an impressive list of songs to show for his efforts. In January 2012, Lyda released his debut album "The Blueshift" which is available for free download at http://www.soundcloud.com/Lyda
